Find Your Karma
Karma is a powerful force that impacts us all individually. It is an ever present force in our lives but what makes this force so great is that it is ours to control, all we have to do is find it.
So what is Karma? Karma simply means “action”, and actions have real world applications and impacts. When we complete an action, they create momentum and they have many consequences and possibilities. If you call out of work, that action has consequences. Depending on your situation, you might not get paid, you might miss out on an important opportunity, you might have time to get your mental health together, you might even find a better opportunity that day, etc., these are the possibilities you created by calling out of work and whatever reality comes of it, is your Karma.
One misconception about Karma is that there is “good” or “bad” Karma. Karma does not deal in our sense of morality. It simply is what it is. The what goes around, comes around aspect of Karma is not about mystical forces that will act upon someone. It is a natural call for accountability. If you eat and get full, that is your Karma. If you put your hand in an open flame, then you will be burned, and that is your Karma.

It is an energy within you, within all of us, that continuously drive our lives forward. How you think, how you feel, the things that you do, are all your Karma. Your thoughts create a momentum, your emotions create a momentum, your physical actions create a momentum.
When it comes to Karma, as long as you have life in you, the spotlight is always on, and you must perform in all aspects, with or without your say, conscious or unconscious you will perform. Some of these actions are predisposed behavior, some are learned before you have the capacity to make your own decisions, some are things you do because of outside pressures. Whatever the case may be, it is all still your performance, it is still your energy and your momentum, your Karma.
So what’s the point of understanding Karma and why do you need to find it? The reason is that understanding the mechanism of Karma, even on basic terms, will give you the sense of responsibility you need to become who you want to be, yourself. If you don’t like who you are, or what you have become, then recognizing that you are in control of your own momentum, recognizing that you are in control of your own destiny when it comes to who you are, will get you to take action in every aspect of your life.

It is not about blame or finding fault, it is about your Karma. Whether you blame someone else or you blame yourself does not matter, in terms of Karma, what matters is the impact something has on you and how you will guide the momentum of that impact. That is what is important. Everyone can blame, but can you heal? The more time you spend blaming others or blaming yourself, you are letting pain and discomfort create your momentum. Your thoughts, your feelings, you actions will be in the energy of pain and that pain will become who you are and lead you down a path with options you don’t like. You will put yourself in situations. If you instead decide to accept the fact that no matter who’s to blame, you are the one that has to tend to yourself and facilitate your growth and that is what your energy should go to.
Karma is about acceptance of yourself and what you do. Once you accept and take responsibility for all of your actions, you begin to become more self aware, and you start making more decisions vs. reacting in a predisposed manner. The power of becoming more of a decision maker in your own life is that you gain more control over your actions and you begin to actively define your own life and possibilities. This is how you go from having a Fate to having a Destiny.

A Fate is given to you, determined by something other than you. Fate is what happens when you let your momentum do whatever it wants, Fate is when you let someone else control your momentum and control your direction. A Destiny is you deciding and being aware of every step you take and owning your actions and decisions. It is not about being wrong or right, it is not about being good or bad, it is about actively BEING yourself and not letting yourself BE. One is active and the other is stagnant. If you wish to change your possibilities, then you must become active in every aspect of self by finding your Karma
